Painting portraits of people or animals is one of the most meaningful parts of my artistic work. I'm fascinated by how a gesture, a glance, or even a simple posture can contain an entire story. Each commission allows me to connect with someone else's memories, affections, and identity, an intimate way of preserving what we love.

My approach combines traditional and digital techniques, always with a pictorial aesthetic influenced by realism and classical visual languages: from chiaroscuro to the expressive brushwork that brings atmosphere to life.

I create both traditional and digital artworks, always with a painterly aesthetic rooted in realism and classical sensibility. My main focus is portraits of people and pets, usually from the chest up, unless otherwise requested.

I also work on still lifes, reinterpretations of well-known artworks with expressive adaptation or inspiration from historical styles, as well as simple master copies or studies focused on specific details.

For religious or mythological projects, I work exclusively from existing visual references to ensure symbolic coherence and aesthetic fidelity within the style I specialize in.

Style and scope

My approach is not hyperrealistic: I aim to capture presence, soul, and atmosphere rather than producing a photographic copy. I also do not work in caricature, anime, cartoon styles, video game art, logos, branding, or fully invented compositions without reference.

Required references

I work exclusively from clear, well-lit photographs where essential features are visible. I can combine up to two complex references in a single composition; however, I generally do not create detailed backgrounds unless explicitly requested. If you want a more elaborate setting, it can be integrated as an additional element, subject to evaluation and pricing.

How I work

Each artwork begins with a digital sketch that allows us to define composition, lighting, and pose before moving on to the final piece.
I include two rounds of revisions during this initial stage; once the sketch is approved, I do not make changes during execution.

Throughout the process, I send progress updates with watermarks to protect the piece until completion.

The duration of each commission depends on both the technique and the complexity of the piece. Digital artworks usually progress more quickly: when I have good references, the approximate completion time is around two weeks.

Physical works (especially oil paintings) require a slower and more careful process. Including creation, drying, final adjustments, and preparation for shipping, the estimated time is two months or more, depending on the level of detail, size, or medium used.

I generally do not accept entirely invented compositions, but when I do, they require a higher budget and significantly more time due to the extra work involved.

Once the physical piece is finished, the preparation and packaging process is done with professional standards to ensure its safety. After that, it is handed to the shipping carrier within the next 24 hours. Delivery times vary depending on the region, but generally range from 5 to 12 business days once the package has entered the courier system.

Payments and Deposits

Commissions are managed through a deposit system that ensures proper planning and full dedication to the project. For physical artworks, a 50% deposit is required to begin; digital pieces require a 70% deposit. The remaining balance is paid once the artwork is completed and before delivery.

Payments can be made through PayPal or via Stripe, which accepts credit and debit cards, as well as digital methods like Apple Pay and Google Pay, depending on the client’s country.

Due to the time, planning, and materials involved, I do not offer refunds once the project has begun. This system ensures a clear, responsible, and secure process for both parties.
